Mario Russo
Mario Russo (1925-2000) was an Italian painter known for his unique style and innovative approach to art. Born in Naples, Italy, Russo received his formal art education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, where he studied painting and sculpture. He quickly gained recognition for his bold use of color and dynamic compositions. Russo exhibited his works in galleries and museums around the world, including the Venice Biennale, the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna in Rome, and the Institute of Contemporary Art. In 1985, Peter was approached by the accomplished artist to discuss the possibility of hosting an exhibition at Peter's gallery, which resulted in the 'Fellini Show' of 1986.
