Works by Mary Cassatt, William Merritt Chase, Theodore Earl Butler, and Frederic Remington are among the 160 paintings and sculptures being publicly exhibited at L’Enfant Gallery, together for the first time.

An Impression of American Art: The Judah Best Collection tells the pictorial story of a lifelong collector.

As a former Commissioner of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Judah Best spent his career surrounded by and infatuated with American paintings, particularly those from the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist periods.

We invite you to view the collection and join us in conversation.

Exhibition catalogues will be available for purchase at the event.

If you would like more details on the artworks prior to the opening, please email [email protected].
