The life and work of Master Ernesto Alcántara (1933-2019) is not that of an ordinary and common artist; it is the life and work of a neo-Renaissance artist, a studio painter, an alchemist of art, the last anonymous master of the 20th century. Ernesto Alcántara was more than a formative painter; he was a multidisciplinary artist: architect, sculptor, luthier, illustrator, designer, chemist, chef, friend, teacher, comrade in both won and lost battles, and an excellent conversationalist.
