Cynthia A. Dawley (1964 – ) is a legacy fine artist who grew up among canvases and stories of creative exploration. Today, she works as an Impressionistic oil painter, blending classical technique with a modern, relatable sensibility.
Career highlights include being featured in HBO’s The Soprano’s for 2 consecutive seasons; Cartier, the luxury jewelery company, used one of her paintings for their corporate holiday card; Colavita commissioned her to create custom oil paintings for its premium pasta sauce labels; Nine original works were showcased in the 2023 feature film Daughter of the Bride (starring Marcia Gay Harden and Halston Sage).
Dawley has had 20+ exhibitions, including solo shows and curated group gallery shows. She is now based in Virginia (formerly New Jersey).
